With a new season just round the corner, you have more reason to update the look and color of your hair. As the dried leaves wither away and you finally feel that nip in the air, you might want to go for some warmer and deeper hues for your luscious locks. You got it right. It is time for you to try new colors and highlights for your hair and welcome the winters with open arms. Here are a few cool new ideas for coloring your hair this autumn/winter season.

Pumpkin spice

The beautiful brown color derives its inspiration from your favorite pumpkin spice latte. The style, also referred to as the ‘gingersnap hair’ incorporates a copper base with multidimensional highlights of blonde, chestnut and gold. The gorgeous look is fondly reminiscent of dried orange leaves shimmering against the vermillion of the autumn sun.

Dip dye

haircolor-2

The dip dye look can be achieved by simply getting the tips of your hair strands dipped in a different shade altogether. You can combine your natural blonde with a light pink or baby blue dye at the tips. For a more radical transformation you can get your entire head colored in platinum blonds and get your strand ends dipped in black and purple.

 Ronze

A relatively updated version of the previous ‘bronde’ trend for blondes, the ronze trend is designed for our lovely redheads. The Ronze color is a mixture of several shades of bronze brown, red and copper. The reason for the ronze to gain instant popularity is the fact that it is an extremely versatile hair color that works for all different skin complexions. In case you have an extremely pale skin, you can go for brighter and more vibrant undertones.

 Smoky lilac

This one is for all those ombre lovers who do not hesitate from trying more unnatural and unconventional shades on their hair. The gorgeous smoky lilac incorporates soft and subtle transitions from a rich shade of grayish purple fading down to a foggy and pale lavender. The result is a somber and mysterious color that looks absolutely incredible on long wavy tresses.

 Strawberry blonde

Lovely shades of strawberry and apricot added on to a full blonde head is the new in-thing this season. The warm and vibrant strawberry blonde is an amazing way to tone down the paleness of your complexion and provide a radiant illumination to your face. In addition to this, the color can be further customized by a professional colorist to go with deeper skin tones as well.

So just pick a shade that speaks for you, and get ready to rock the new season in style!

Style Tips for Women After 40

Once women hit the big four-oh, they believe that they can no longer look attractive. Most of them are married, have kids, and/or neck-deep in their careers. But just because you’re in your forties doesn’t mean that you can’t look good. All you have to do is make a few changes here and there and you’re set to look fabulous. Not to mention years younger. Here are some style tips you should follow.

What are the things women over 40 should avoid?

  1. Unflattering clothes. Even if they are trendy or comfortable, unflattering clothes can make you look much older. To buy the right kind of clothes, learn your body type.
  2. Clothes made from cheap fabrics. They make for unflattering clothes and won’t last you too long. Buy clothes that look great, feel great, and last forever.
  3. Match everything you wear or appear too polished. This is all right if you’re a diplomat and need to keep things neutral, but if you’re not one, then there’s no harm in mixing things up. Add some color to your wardrobe.
  4. Avoid clothes like really short skirts or shorts, mini dresses, ripped jeans, ill-fitting mom jeans, unfitted blazers, and baggy clothes.

What are some things women over 40 should focus on?

  1. Identify your style. The key is to dress in a style that represents you while making you look good. It helps to learn about your body type.
  2. Have some basic wardrobe essentials like a white button-down shirt, a beautiful fitting dress that is not necessarily black, a long coat, a well-fitting blazer, fitted long pants, and a pair of flattering denim jeans.
  3. Make sure you’re not overdoing something. Make it your aim to look chic effortlessly. Don’t look too formal, unless you’re heading to a meeting. Don’t look too casual hoping to look younger, either.
  4. Keep an eye on current fashion trends. Choose trends that suit your body style.
  5. The best length for a skirt for a lady your age is just above your knee or on top of it. Anything too long can be unflattering to your calves and anything too short can make it look like you’re trying too hard.
  6. Invest in some shapewear. They always help, especially on special nights out.
  7. Also invest in hats, scarves, belts, and jewelry.

  1. If you’re someone who travels frequently, make sure you don’t go over the top with styling, especially with heat-based tools like straighteners or curling irons. Over styling using these tools during the winter can cause serious damage to your hair. Since your hair has already become dry to begin with, the heat from these tools can make your strands weaker and can result in hair loss. Switch to Velcro rollers from flat irons if you want volume and smoothness. Restrict to using your flat iron or blow dryer to just once a week.
  2. During the cold months, it’s very tempting to take a nice, long hot shower. But remember that the heat from the water can damage your locks. Wash your hair with moderately hot water. Also avoid shampooing your hair too frequently as this can dry your hair out.
  3. Conditioners are your best friends. When the temperature drops, make sure your regularly deep condition your hair. It doesn’t matter what type of hair you have, deep conditioning is a must. Apply the conditioner, wear a shower cap, and leave it on overnight. You can rinse out the conditioner in the morning. You can also try leave-in conditioners which offer extra protection against your hair during the winter. Keep your scalp nourished by regularly oiling your hair using coconut, almond, or olive oil.
  4. Keep your hair safely secured using elastic bands or bobby pins. This way, you avoid exposing all your hair to the elements, especially your scalp, which can become irritated due to the cold, dry air. Keeping your hair pinned or tied also helps you avoid getting it wet in case of an unexpected snowfall.
  5. Whenever you head outside during the winter, make sure your head and hair are covered. Use a knit cap or a scarf. You could also try hats that have silk or satin lining. Wear jackets that have hoods.

Makeup getting under your Skin? Here are some Bold Reasons why you should stop wearing Makeup

Let’s face it, we’ve reached an age where makeup is absolutely essential to a woman. But, slowly, the trend seems to be changing. More and more women are breaking the norms and deciding to stop wearing makeup. Is this the beginning of a new revolution?

Whether a new revolution or not, there are plenty of benefits of not wearing makeup. Here are some reasons why you should probably stop wearing makeup.

  1. Your skin is going to be grateful

No matter what’s mentioned on the tube or box, most makeup is toxic. Unlike medicine or food, cosmetic products are often not subjected to inspection before they are released into the market. Unfortunately, most makeup products contain harmful ingredients like propylene glycol or sodium benzoate which get absorbed by your skin, causing allergies or even cancer. Makeup also clogs your pores, making your acne and blemishes worse.

  1. You’ll save a ton of money

It’s no secret, but good makeup is expensive. All those foundations, lipsticks, glosses, concealers, and let’s not forget the brushes cost a fortune. And there’s no point using cheap makeup because they aren’t good. Ditching makeup will help you save a lot of cash.

skin-1

  1. You’ll learn to accept your flaws

So you’ve been wearing foundation and concealer for years to cover up those blemishes and freckles. It’s true that the hardest thing for one to do is love themselves. When you stop wearing makeup, you’ll suddenly feel exposed. But over time, you’ll get used to it and understand that real people don’t care about the blemishes on your skin.

  1. You’ll have way more free time

When men complain that women take a long time to get dressed, they’re not really wrong. Even after years of practice, it takes a while for anyone to get dressed and apply all that foundation, concealer, eye shadow, eyeliner, rouge, lipstick, and whatever else. Now that you’ve stopped wearing makeup, you’ll have plenty of free time on your hands to do more important things like get a new hobby or learn a new language.

  1. You’ll have a confidence booster

One of the biggest benefits of ditching makeup is your confidence will hit an all-time high. You’re no longer hiding behind layers of makeup, and this shows that you don’t care what other people think about the way you look. You’ll reach a whole new level of acceptance and your self-esteem will thank you.

The choice to wear makeup or not is a personal one and women are entitled to make their own decisions. However, it’s for your benefit to maybe reduce the amount of makeup you wear or limit it to only special occasions.

How to Clean your Makeup Brushes Properly

Makeup brushes are mandatory tools in a girl’s makeup kit. But after a few weeks of using them, these brushes can collect old makeup, natural oils from your face, and they can slowly cause bacterial buildup. It is important to regularly clean your makeup brushes and maintain them so they remain soft, clean, and bacteria-free.

Here’s how you can clean lightly-soiled or heavily-soiled makeup brushes.

For lightly-soiled makeup brushes

Step 1: Examine your brushes and identify if they were used for powder-based or cream-based makeup. Cream-based makeup brushes need more thorough cleaning.

Step 2: Soak the bristles in lukewarm water or you could run them under a tap. This will help you rinse away most of the collected old makeup. Make sure the handle’s metal clasp doesn’t get wet.

Step 3: Fill a small bowl with lukewarm water and add a teaspoon of baby shampoo into it.

Step 4: Dip the bristles into the shampoo water and swirl. Using your fingers, gently massage the bristles to get rid of any clogged makeup.

Step 5: Rinse the brush with lukewarm water while continuing to massage the bristles using your fingers.

Step 6: Don’t squeeze the water out of the bristles. Instead, use a towel to pat them dry. Gently squeeze the bristles between the folds of the towel. Reshape them if they have become crooked. Gently pull and spread the bristles to their original shape.

Step 7: Place the brush on a table or counter with the bristles hanging over the edge. Make sure to not place them on a tower as this could cause mildew.

Step 8: Once the bristles are completely dry, fluff them up using your fingers. They are now ready to use again.

brushes-1

Source: https://pixabay.com/static/uploads/photo/2015/05/31/11/47/brush-791305_960_720.jpg

For heavily-soiled makeup brushes

Step 1: Brushes used for cream-based makeup are usually more soiled than ones used for powder-based makeup. Before you wash the bristles, you’ll need some oil so that the lodged makeup becomes loose and comes away easily.

Step 2: Soak a paper towel with some light almond or olive oil. Gently run the bristles of the brush across the paper towel. Make sure the bristles don’t become soaked in the oil.

Step 3: Wet the bristles with lukewarm water. Squirt some baby shampoo onto your palm and swirl the brush in the shampoo. Rinse the bristles and follow steps 5, 6, 7, and 8 that are mentioned for lightly-soiled brushes.

brushes-2

Source: https://pixabay.com/static/uploads/photo/2014/06/16/12/18/makeup-brushes-369776_960_720.jpg

It’s important that you clean your brushes at least once in two weeks. Make sure they remain dry and store them in well-ventilated areas or in a makeup pouch. If you want to disinfect your brushes, use a vinegar-water mixture once a month while cleaning them.

Style Advice for Women Over 40

over401

First of all, let’s agree that age is just a number. Who says you shouldn’t care about the way you look when you reach that magic threshold age of 40? Who says you can’t look chic and stylish when you cross this age? One thing that many over- 40 women find challenging is this: How to look stylish without making age- inappropriate fashion choices? Well, let us tell you.

If you are not sure, go neutral

The biggest confusion arises when you have to pick the right shades; be it nail polish, lipstick or mascara. If you are in doubt, simply go with neutral shades. The great thing about these is that they go well with any outfit, formal or fun and they add a touch of glamor and elegance to your overall appearance. Plus, they say that you are confident about the way you look so you don’t need attention grabbing cosmetics anymore.

Get at least two jackets

Preferably, get them in dark shades so they go well with your formal skirts and pants and also your denims. Jackets can be paired with practically anything to lend an air of class and style to an outfit that may otherwise border on ‘too much’. Plus, they can sober down your look without taking away the cheerful fun of bright colors. Get two jackets that fit you beautifully because you will be wearing them really often.

Sweater dresses are a must

They cling in all the right places, they drape beautifully and they can make you look like you just walked off a ramp. What more do you need? Sweater dresses, especially, the deep blues, blacks and light greys and beiges, are perfect for all occasions although we must say they do give you a really cool professional look because they are just the slightest bit dressy.

Black is still ‘in’

Black does not make your skin look older or duller, no matter how many people tell you that. But you do need to make sure that when you are picking up a black dress, you go for the plush black and not the matt one. Velvets and satins in black are perfect to add that gloss and shimmer to your look. Complete the look with contrasting accessories. Even if you do want to go all out with bright yellows or parrot greens in your purse or shoes or belt, you can always add a dash of color with ruby reds, emeralds, whites or pale pinks.

Picking the Right Shoes for Your Outfit

shoes1

One of the best tips you should remember while choosing shoes for your day is to pick a pair that complements your outfit and not completes it. But finding the right pair to complement your clothes can be a tricky task. The truth it, it’s an uncomplicated balancing act. All you have to do is look for the right thing. Before you pick your shoes for the day, wear your outfit and stand in front of the mirror and ask yourself these following questions:

  • Does the outfit have something that stands out?
  • Does the outfit have a lot of embellishments or bold prints?
  • What is the main color of your attire? Or is it completely one color?

Your answers to the above questions will help you choose what shoes you should wear. Here are some tips on choosing the right pair of shoes for your outfit.

What’s the occasion?

If your shoes do not match the event or occasion, then it doesn’t matter how comfortable or pretty they are. They are just the wrong pair for the occasion. You cannot wear glamorous shoes to office and likewise, you cannot wear flip-flops to a formal event. Casual events like shopping with your girlfriends or a movie call for ballet flats or classic pumps. Keep the event and location in mind before you decide. A formal event like a ball or a wedding will definitely require for you to wear heels, but if it’s an outdoorsy event, remember that wearing stilettos will make it difficult for you to walk in loose grass or soil.

What’s the season?

Your shoes should match the season, but it’s not a hard and fast rule. You can still wear heels in the middle of a snowy day and you can wear flip flops even after summer has ended, but it’s wisest to keep the season in mind when you’re deciding. Suede boots protect your feet and look great in winters, but they will definitely look out of place in the summer. Leather pumps, on the other hand, are fantastic throughout the year.

What’s the best color?

The most versatile pair of shoes is a black one. They go well with almost all kinds of clothes, but they can also get rather boring. Colorful shoes are the best way to add some zing to your attire. Be careful with glitzy shoes like gold or silver, though.

Shoes are the finishing touch to a girl’s outfit, so it’s important that they aren’t overlooked. Pick the right pair for the occasion or season so you don’t seem under-dressed or out of place. Also, always try and buy comfortable pairs so you’re not in pain for several hours during the day.

  1. Whether your hair is long or short, bobby pins are a mandate in every girl’s life. With short hair, bobby pins help you keep stray strands in place while giving you a sleek look. Before you wear bobby pins, spray them with dry shampoo or hairspray to prevent them from slipping.
  1. Want to keep your pixie cut smooth and in place? Try headbands. They come in various colors and width. You could also choose a bejeweled headband for that extra glamor.
  1. Layering is an interesting style that allows you to keep your hair short while giving you some volume. You could try a layered bob if you’re not that big a fan of the pixie cut. A layered bob is easily the best hairstyle for the summer.
  1. If you’re good with the straightener, you could keep your bob sleek and perfect. Don’t overdo the straightening or you’ll end up damaging your tresses.
  1. The pixie cut is more suitable for women with small, oval or heart-shaped faces. They scream boldness and a spunky attitude. If you’re feeling adventurous, tell your hairstylist to give you a super stylish pixie cut.
  1. If you have a bob, you have more options of experimenting. Try beachy waves for that chic summer look. This style is perfect for a girl’s night out or even that special date you’ve been waiting for.
  1. If you have a bold jawline, try the Goldilocks length. It’s not too short or too long and the ends of your tresses sit between your chin and shoulders, giving your jawline a softer appearance.
  1. If you have a straight, sleek bob, you could create faux bangs by creating a deep side part and sweeping your hair across your forehead and using a headband to secure it behind one side of your head.
  1. When you have short hair, you could experiment with more options than with long hair. Try gelling your hair for a super sleek hairstyle that makes everyone take notice.
  1. Want to try something bolder than a short hairstyle? Then go crazy and color your short hairdo a shade you have always wanted. Short hair doesn’t really deprive you of coloring options, so go ahead. Get that ombre or pastels you’ve always wanted.

It’s true that short-haired girls have more fun. You spend way more time doing important things like picking the right dress for that date than wasting it on styling your hair. Get out there and rock that new short hairdo.

7 Must-Have Accessories for Fall

accessories1

With the leaves starting to change color and your most eager friends already planning their Halloween outfits you know that Fall is just around the corner. While it’s way too early for Halloween, your friends may be on to something when it comes to planning new outfits. With the weather turning and the 2016-17 Fall/ Winter collections hitting stores, this is a good time to give the old wardrobe a refresh with some chic new styles; and we’ve got some tips for you to help you stay fashion forward all through the season.

  1. The Trench Coat

With the onset of fall bringing out the coats, a cute new trench is just thing you need to stand out in the crowd. For colors, consider brighter pastel tones or experiment with different textures such as nylon or even leather.

If you’re not in the market for a big ticket item like a trench coat , you could dress up your old one with a new belt. If you have a neutral trench coat in grey or fawn then try a bold belt that will complement it.

  1. Boyfriend Jeans

If you’d like to get into your boyfriend’s pants… or at least look like you’ve gotten into his wardrobe, then these baggy, relaxed fit jeans could look great when paired with some nice ankle or over the knee boots and a bomber jacket. Since the jeans are going to be baggy, keep the jacket and the rest of the outfit fitted.

  1. Capes

Not just for wizards and superheroes, capes are making a bit of a comeback recently. They’re a very versatile bit of clothing and you can work them into a few ensembles quite easily. Just note that, like the boyfriend jeans, keep the rest of your outfit fitted to counter the loose lines of the cape and avoid coming off looking ‘dumpy’. You can pair a cape with skinny jeans, leggings or a pencil skirt.

  1. Something Tartan

The Scottish are coming! But that’s not a bad thing because they’re bringing some totally cute styles with them. The classic Tartan checks are in and you’ll find them on bags, shoes, scarves  and even belts. There’s a lot of color combinations to choose from, so pick one (or more) that works for you and invite this style from the isles into your closet.

  1. Iridescent heels

Named for their iridescent bluish-green beauty, these heels are everywhere this season. This is not a look for those who don’t enjoy being the center of attention, so consider yourself fore-warned. While definitely a show stopper in their own right, these shoes can be offset by pairing it with a neutral dresses, particularly monotones like a dark or smoke grey.

  1. Statement Necklace

What that statement is, is entirely up to you really. What matters more is that you say it loud and proud. Pair these over the top pieces with minimalist dresses and neutral tones to make sure that that they remain the center of attention. These necklaces come in all shapes and sizes to suit any style, from the elegant, to the quirky,  to the downright eccentric.

  1. Belts

There are so many choices here that this list could have been nothing but belts! Take your choice from skinny knotted leather belts that go well with just about any casual outfit. Metallic belts or chains to glam up an outfit that’s too plain. Animal print belts are always popular in the fall season and are available in a wide variety of finishes, from leopard spots to reptilian iridescence, these can add a playful dash of the unexpected to your outfit. Finally is the corset belt, which is a fairly new addition to the belt line up. Corset belts provide a slimming effect for, and draw attention to, the waist and works well as part of an urban punk look (which is also IN this fall).

5 Easy Curly Hair Dos

Is your naturally curly hair your biggest curse? Do you constantly wish you had straight hair like your best friend? Well, you will rue your curls no more because we have the perfect hair- dos for your natural curls that will have your straight haired besties craving for a curler. But, the joke’s on them because these styles look super- hot only when you have those natural curls to add a touch of fun to the look.

The Victorian Maiden look

This one is a simple crown twist that can really give you an aura of elegance that the Royals will covet. And all it takes is five minutes of your time. Yes, we are sure! So what you do is take one small section of your hair from the side and start twisting it even as you pull it toward the back of your head. To frame your face and give you that ‘causally stunning’ look, leave a few strands of hair loose. When you reach the center of your head at the back, pin the twisted portion firmly with a few baby pins. Now, just repeat the same move with hair from the opposite side of your head. When you are done, you have a beautiful crown keeping your waves away from your face and leaving the rest cascading down.

Two part side ponytail

This one works best when you have tight curls that appear frizzy. So, no more worrying about frizzy hair. How’s that for a side benefit? To create this do, just part your hair in two, with one front and one back portion. The back section goes into a super tight ponytail on one side of your head. The front part goes to the side to frame the top of your head. It is funky, fun and simply done in minutes!

Braided locks

Braids look amazing when you have curly hair and you can double the impact of this stunner style by making two braids, a fishtail braid first and then a simple braid that is wrapped around it.  Leave the braid dangling down one shoulder and you have a beautifully feminine, youthful style going for you.

Side braid and bun

What can we say? We love braids and that’s why we bring you another stunner hair do that lets you braid your tresses. For this one, take a segment of hair from one side and as you braid it, move over to the other, picking up small segments of hair along the way. When you get to the other side, twist the braid up into a messy bun and secure with a pin for a look that will get you through a formal occasion just as easily as a beach party.

10 Things That Ruin Your Sleep

ruin sleep

I know, it’s not a sexy subject, but improving your sleep is critical to transforming your health and fitness.

The reason is simple.

When you’re not getting high quality sleep, you throw your body’s hormones out of whack.

This leads to a downward spiral of:

  • Eating more high calorie, processed, fatty and sugary foods.
  • Moving your body less throughout the day because of your low energy.
  • And if you actually do one, your workouts suffer, thus you burn less calories.

There’s no denying it.

Long-term poor sleep will lead to fat gain, increased inflammation in the body, and increased risk of disease.

If you’re suffering from poor quality sleep, here are:

10 Things That Maybe Ruining Your Sleep:

#1. You drink caffeine too late in the day.

If you find yourself laying in bed at night, anxious, with your mind racing, you may need to lay off the caffeine after 1pm.

Over consumption of caffeine causes excess production of the stress hormone cortisol. Stick to your morning cup of Joe, then switch to water throughout the day.

#2. You don’t have a set bedtime.

When you were a kid, you had a set bedtime for a reason. Implement a regular bedtime (and wake up time) even on the weekends.

Highest quality sleep occurs when people go to bed between 9:30-11pm. Not 2-3am.

#3. Your bedroom is too hot.

To clarify, it’s too hot for the wrong reasons 😉

If you’re pumping the heater at night, turn it off. The best sleeping environment is when your room is chilled to around 67 degrees.

Cooler temperatures will allow you to get a deeper sleep.

#4. Your bedroom is not dark enough.

Your bedroom should be dark. I mean real dark. Consider getting “blackout” curtains, and removing your electronics that give off light.

Even when you’re asleep, your brain can still sense the alarm clock light through your eyelids.

#5. You’re staring at your smart device before bed.

Smart devices give off blue light which can decrease the production of the sleep hormone, melatonin.

If for some reason you have to look at your smart device before bed, use the setting to dim the light of your screen.

Or better yet, keep your smart devices in the kitchen. Your snapchat message will still be there in the morning, Mr. Popular.

#6. You’re eating too late.

Stop eating after 8pm for a deeper sleep.

Ask yourself, why do you need to feed your body energy when it’s preparing for sleep.

Think about it next time before you grab that bag of doritos.

#7. You’re working out too late.

Workouts energize the body and focus the mind. Also, in most cases you’re probably taking a caffeine enhanced pre-workout drink. Not a good combo 2 hours before bedtime.

If you can, try to get your workouts in earlier in the day or before 6pm.

#8. You’re not working out at all.

Being lazy all day doesn’t prepare the body for rest. Even if you can’t make it to the gym, go for a walk with the dog, stretch, do a home workout like any of my bodyweight workouts on Live Lean TV.

#9. You’re working out too much.

Ongoing 2-a-day workouts and long endurance cardio cause excessive stress on the body, which creates excessive production of the stress hormone cortisol.

Working out, like sleep, is about quality, not quantity.

#10. You don’t eat foods that help promote sleep.

I filmed an episode called 4 Foods to Help You Sleep. These foods help your body naturally produce sleep friendly hormones.

Are you consuming these foods on a consistent basis? Go watch that video to find out.

Bottom Line

Sleep is so important to ease the mind and provide your body with the proper rest to repair, grow, and burn fat.

You don’t grow muscles in the gym. You grow muscles during the recovery process outside of the gym.

Avoid these 10 things that ruin your sleep to ensure you’re taking full advantage of your sleep gains!

Summer Grooming

summer grooming

I know what you’re thinking. Why is summer grooming even a thing? Don’t we get to press pause on adult responsibilities and just go on and enjoy our holidays extra sloppy?

Honestly, that’s all I’ve been trying to do this obscenely cold week but to no avail. After addressing dressing up sandals, 5 things to do in Sofia and even giving up and turning my attention to next season with the Dr. Martens Fall/Winter 2016 preview, I’m back with another advice column. Maybe talking about summer grooming will give me just a little vicarious enjoyment…Summer grooming is not that different from what you’d do to get ready for a good date! You want your body hair under control, your skin soft and touchable (tan lines are always a welcomed bonus in my book…) and your hair tidy but ready to be touseled!

Regarding body hair, it’s all personal preference, but I like to go clean all over and then let the chest hair grow out a bit. I recently switched over to the new Philips Bodygroom and I love the strength and the design. You literally need 30 minutes at the beginning of each next month to keep your body looking its best. No excuses![/ezcol_1third]

Skincare also doesn’t have to be a chore. Invest in a good tanning lotion with SPF and a fun speedo to get the best tan, and then switch over to a gentle organic body wash that’s nourishing and smells amazing. I’m a huge fan of the Yves Rocher line, and especially the Bio Honey and organic Muesli body wash. Double the action by getting the matching lotion and using it every night after your shower and you’re all set.

To finish off the summer grooming trifecta, get a nourishing hair mask to use from time to time. All the sea, salt and sun can become damaging to your hair after a while, especially if it’s thick and wavy. My new favorite is by Nashi and it is a real treat.
